Jeffrey Allan Leverton

After 51 years of a life well-lived, Jeffrey (Jeff) Allan Leverton of Dansville, MI passed away on December 10, 2023. While cancer took him too soon, he valiantly fought with his whole heart with his wife, Krista, daughter, Sybella and his beloved pups, Oscar and Rachel by his side.

Jeff was born in Allen Park, MI on July 9, 1972, to William and Sheila Leverton. He graduated from Allen Park High School in 1990 where he was involved in the ski club, the ski patrol and the high school newspaper with his best friend, Tadd Balogh. Jeff initially attended Western Michigan University and finished his degree in Human Resource Management from Cleary College where he graduated with honors. His work career led him to Pratt & Whitney for the last six years as a Training & Compliance Manager.

Jeff was full of life. Spontaneous, joyful and a “character” are but a few words to describe him. As well as generous, caring and fun-loving. He was an avid skier, golfer and softball player. He also loved to hunt and enjoyed attending concerts with his wife and daughter. Jeff’s love and pride for his daughter, Sybella, was a constant topic of conversation. He will surely be watching over her as she finishes her Nursing degree at Ferris State University.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Krista Scott and his daughter, Sybella Leverton. He is also survived by his brother, John Leverton (Beth), nephews, Cooper and Brady and niece, Delaney. Also, his uncle, Bob Leverton (Therea), cousin, Erin Pierce and best friend, Tadd Balogh. Jeff was predeceased by both of his parents, William and Sheila Leverton earlier this year.

A visitation will be held at Gorsline Runciman Ball-Dunn Chapel in Mason, MI on January 4th from 3-5pm with a memorial service and refreshments to follow.
