Jacqueline and Walter, her husband of 41 years, raised a large family which includes 8 children, 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She loved to spend time outdoors, especially if she was fishing. She was always very active, never idle. In addition to caring for her family, Jacqueline also worked for Jackson National Life as a Data Processor.
She is preceded in death by her parents. Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband Walter; daughters, Marian (Floyd) Parsons, Wanda (Stephen) Alfes, Laurie (Russell) Thelen, Paula Lawyer; sons, Dee (Tina) Wakefield, Gary (Teresa) Davis, Steven Hastings, Michael Hastings; her grandchildren; great grandchildren; great-great granddaughter; and brother, Delmar (Beverly) Leffler.
Funeral services will be held Monday October, 20, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Mason, MI. The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior at the funeral home. Interment will be at Deepdale Cemetery, Lansing. Those desiring may make contributions in Jacqueline’s memory to Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
