Dorlene Eleanor Bayhan, age 95, of Lansing, Michigan passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025 in Okemos. She was born on the family farm on July 5, 1929, the daughter of Leon and Pearl Crowl. She attended Mason Public Schools, graduating in 1947. After graduation she was employed by Michigan State University for 43 years. Dorlene was a proud and loyal Spartan who held season tickets to football and basketball for 69 years. While working at MSU, she volunteered her time at Sparrow Hospital, where she eventually was employed for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Pearl Crowl; brother, Colon Crowl; sisters, Constance Travers and Marilyn Twichell; nephews, Randy and Thomas Twichell. Surviving are her nephew, Jim (Denise) Crowl; nieces, Cherie (Wayne) Mitchell, Susan (John) White and Cindy Luce; many great-nieces and nephews, as well as great-great-nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at All Saints Lutheran Church in Mason, with Pastor Gerald Ferguson officiating.
