Chris Kelley LaLonde

Age 50, died August 14, 2010. He was born November 3, 1959, in Lansing, MI. Chris was a 1978 graduate of Mason High School and worked 16 years as a Technician at Groves Motorsports. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, loved the outdoors, boating, hunting and fishing. He married his wife, Lynda, July 19, 2008. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry LaLonde. Surviving are his wife, Lynda; son, Broc LaLonde; daughter, Kara LaLonde; step-son, Connor Pine; step-daughters, Erica, Lauren, and Adrienne Waltz; 3 grandchildren; mother, Marilyn “Jean” LaLonde; 2 sisters, Cindy (Ray) Godbehere and Cherie LaLonde; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Thursday, August 19, 2010 at the Ingham County Fairgrounds Community Hall, 700 E. Ash, Mason, MI with Jason LaLonde officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Community Hall and Thursday one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in support of Chris’ family, payable to Lynda LaLonde, c/o Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason, MI 48854.
