Bettie Jane Peabody, age 94, of Lansing, Michigan passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025. Bettie married Alford Eugene Peabody on October 7, 1950, in Lansing, Michigan. He preceded her in death on February 29, 2024. Together they raised five children: Russell (Camilla) Peabody, Bruce (the late Juaise) Peabody, Sandra Peabody, Susan (the late Ronald) Kleinfelt, and Gary (Eileen) Peabody; grandchildren Mitchell Peabody, Matthew Peabody, Michael Peabody, Andrew Peabody, Jenna (James) Nixon, and Alexander (Bryanna) Peabody; and great-grandchild Caden Peabody.
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 11:30 AM at Mt. Hope Cemetery, 1800 E. Mt. Hope Ave., Lansing, MI 48910.
