Barbara E. Titus

Born April 6, 1946 in Mason, MI to David and Frances (Lang) Stone, passed away on March 22, 2017 at the age of 70. Barbara was a resident of Mason for most of her life. She retired from Dart Bank after working there for many years. Barbara was an avid U of M fan and enjoyed reading James Patterson and John Grisham novels. She loved to travel with her best friend Judy Wentland.

She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, Gerald and son, James Francis Mentink. Surviving to cherish her memory are her sons, Jeff (Carrie) Mentink, Robert (Amy) Mentink; stepsons, Robert Titus, Corey Titus; 4 grandchildren, Sondra, Kyle, Aaron, Jordan; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Dart (Bev) Stone, Keith (Jean) Stone; sisters, Kathy (Dennis) McKenzie and Carol Smith.

Barbara loved her dog “Callie” and adored her adopted neighbor family, Floyd, Stacey, and their 3 children.

A memorial service will be held Monday, March 27, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson St., Mason MI 48854. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
