Shirley Jean Shaw

She was born Sept. 24, 1925 in Springfield, Illinois. She moved to Washington with her husband, Bob Shaw in 1947. Bob became the Snohomish County Assessor while Shirley was an Avon manager for 17 years. She loved books, birds and her grandchildren. She joined Friends of the Library and became President.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Shaw. She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Bingham (Terry); her three grandchildren, Rebecca Murray, Marvin (Pam), and Jeff Mueller; five great-grandchildren, Christen Jane, Jacob and Jared Murray, Tristin and MaKayla Muller.

A celebration of Shirley’s life will be held Friday, May 2, 2014 at 12:30 PM at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home. There will be a time of visitation on Thursday from 10:00 AM – 5 PM at Schaefer-Shipman. Burial will be at the Marysville Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Jessica Bingham and Patricia Rose for going to her aid at all hours during Shirley’s final days.
