Scott attended Everett schools and graduated from Everett High School in 1956.
In 1955 he joined the Naval Reserve, and the regular Navy in August, 1956. In May 1957, Scott went on board the USS Lansing, a Radar Picket Escort, part of the DEW line, sailing Pearl Harbor to Kodiak, Alaska, and back to Hawaii. During his time on the Lansing, Scott participated in Operation Hardtack, testing Atomic Bombs at Bikini and Eniwetok Atolls, also near Johnson Island, and the Marshall Islands. He was discharged in May, 1960.
During the summer of 1962, Scott met Juanita Norman and they were married in 1963. They were married just short of 59 years.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws Julius and Thora Norman, a brother and sister-in-law, Judy and Vernon Campbell, a brother-in-law John Norman, and a nephew Stephen Campbell.
Scott is survived by his wife, Juanita, sons Scott, Jr (Shawna) and Todd (Teresa) and a daughter Susan (Erik); his brother Jay Frolich, 6 grandchildren, and 6 greatgrandchildren, plus numerous nieces and nephews.
Scott loved camping with his family; also, fishing, old cars, the Seahawks, and the Mariners.
At his request, no services will be held. The family would appreciate any Memorial to be directed to the Alzheimer's Association. Alzheimer is a horrible disease.
