Robert (Bob) Lynn Stiles, Sr., was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma, on August 9, 1947. He met his Savior on May 4, 2018, after a fight with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Bob spent his childhood in Wichita, Kansas, and Huntsville, Alabama. At the age of 19, he met his wife, Mary, in Huntsville, to whom he was a devoted husband for 48 years. He graduated with a B.S. in Management Science and Economics from the University of Alabama in 1974. He then moved to the Pacific Northwest, where his father and he built the home where Mary and he would raise their three children.
He began his career as a planner at Boeing - Everett in 1974. “Bama Bob” spent the best years of his career in Master Schedules planning for the 747 and 767 lines. He retired in 2002, following a quadruple bypass surgery. He loved music. In high school, he sang in the choir and played Earthquake McGoon in the musical, Lil Abner. In college, he performed in a madrigal choir. He instilled a love of music in his children and grandchildren, playing many musical instruments and singing in the comfort of his home.
Bob loved the outdoors, especially spending time camping, hunting, fishing, and sailing with his family. Bob was a builder and loved to work on construction projects with his father and children. He could also fix anything! He was the main repairman and mechanic for his family’s home, cars, and boats. He was a role model DIY for his children, nieces, and nephews.

Stiles; and his children: Robert (Sara) Stiles, Jr., Charlotte (Bradley) Weeda; Thomas (Heather) Stiles; six grandsons: Thomas, Samuel, Nathan, George, James, and Zane; and his granddaughter Maizie.
