Richard Hunt Murphy Jr. passed away in Tacoma, Washington on February 10, 2016 at the age of 50. Richard is survived his brothers; Mike Murphy, Steven Murphy, his sister Barbara Nielson (Murphy) & several nieces & nephews who were like his children. He is preceded in death by his parents Richard and Barbara Murphy (Beatty), sister Mary Jane Murphy, and niece Cinder Clark. He was born on June 2, 1965 in Tacoma, Washington, where he spent his life with family and friends. Richard worked as a handy-man wherever needed, doing painting and construction. Family was his most important thing, especially his mother. He is going to be greatly missed by many! A viewing is scheduled for Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 1pm at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home in Marysville. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 10am at the Tulalip Tribal Gym located at 6700 Totem Beach Road.
