Ray Gene Alexander passed away suddenly November 18th. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 54 years Barbara Ann Alexander (Granite Falls WA) and his beloved daughter Raylene Alexander (Lindsborg KS), his brother Steve Alexander (Kathy), his cousin Marvin Powell (Sheryl), William Linam (Dian), Phyllis Brigante (David) and his 11 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Leona Wilson and Claude Alexander, brother Frank Alexander, sisters Maxine Heath and Patty Alexander and mother in-law Lois Arnold.
Family and friends meant the world to Ray. He was a best friend to many and over his lifetime he remained steadfast to his friends, old and new. He will be lovingly remembered for his gentle nature and always being there for those in his life. Anyone who knew him, knew how special he was.
He had a lifetime love of aviation that started in his first flight on an aircraft on the way to boot camp and continued through his career as an aviation machinist and general aviation enthusiast. .
He lived life to the fullest.
A celebration of Ray’s life at Lake Stevens First Baptist Church on Friday November 28th 2014 at 2pm. We encourage those who loved him, and there were many, to join us and tell their favorite “Ray” story.
