I consider Maggie one of my moms. She was my father's second wife, with him faithfully and through many difficulties till the end of his life. They shared many happy moments together. Maggie loved her garden and taught me things about plants and the appreciation of flowers in the Spring. It is because of her that I enjoy flowers and plant identification. I moved away for many years but kept in touch when I could. And when I moved back I enjoyed visits with her and was amazed at her energy and storytelling and brightness of spirit. I was going to send her a Christmas card because I know how much she would enjoy it. And I am so sorry to hear the news of her passing. However, I know she is in her happy, beautiful, heavenly garden, puttering away, and enjoying the view. - Sue Rosenfield
