Lucy Louise White

2023 following an extended illness.

Lucy was born October 15, 1932 in Sylva, North Carolina to Alfred and Gertrude McMahan.

Lucy and her Husband Boyd L. White had three children: Ron White (Linda) of Phoenix, Arizona, Lois Maynard of Stanwood, Washington and Sheila Trout (Monte) of Marysville, Washington. She also leaves behind two sisters: Leona Huson of Eugene, Oregon and Lewellyn Canary of Marysville, Washington.

Lucy had 5 grandchildren, Trina Massingale (Cory), Steven Anderson, Callie Anderson, Brandon Trout (Sarah), Travis Trout , 7 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lucy was preceded in death by her beloved husband Boyd L. White, her parents Al and Gertrude McMahan, and 3 brothers: Lester McMahan, Lewis McMahan and Linden McMahan.

Lucy and Boyd lived many years in Swede Heaven near Darrington, Washington and owned the Whitehorse Store for 10 Years.

Lucy’s door was always open and the table was always set for anyone who showed up at dinner time.

Lucy will be missed terribly by family and friends but she will be overjoyed to finally reunite with her beloved husband, family members who have passed before her and to finally be with her savior Jesus Christ.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Mt. View Baptist Church with internment at the Darrington cemetery. A memorial dinner following service will be held at the Darrington community center.
