Kenneth was born October 10, 1955 in Arlington, WA and grew up in Darrington, WA.
He graduated in 1974 from Darrington High School then joined the United States Navy and served from 1974-1976.
After his military service, Kenneth then attended Everett Community College where he received his certification in aviation mechanics. He then worked for Boeing for the next 20 years finally receiving a pin for his dedication to the company.
Mr. Moses grew up in a spiritual family and after 20 years of hard work in the public sector he then decided it was time to transition into a life of serving his community in Tulalip. He took a position working in family services for the Tulalip Tribes. With his wife Carolyn by his side he then spent his time traveling all over the Northwest and into Canada working with the Native American and First Nation peoples doing spiritual work and healing in the communities. Kenneth's strength, sense of humor, easy smile, and natural way with people was a huge support for those that knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Carolyn Moses; son, Craig (Florence) Moses; daughter, Autumnrose Moses; grandchildren, Kaeli, Garrett, Gracelyn, and Cid; and siblings, Russell (Judy), Lena (Daniel), Marcia (Manuel), Lyle, Susan, and Myra (Randy). Kenneth was also loved by numerous nieces and nephews.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth V. Moses Sr.; mother, Theresa; father-in-law, William Grenier Jr.; mother-in-law, Elizabeth (Pete) Harry; and sisters, Gladys Moses and Dolly Iukes.
The family would like to give an honorable mention to David Fryberg Sr., George Tsoodle, Delbert Miller, Dale Jones, and Father Dennis for their love and friendship over the years.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 25, 2011 starting at 1:00 p.m. at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home.
A inner faith service will be held on Friday, November 25, 2011 starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Tulalip Tribal Center.
A funeral service will be held at the Tulalip Tribal Center on Saturday, November 26, 2011 starting at 10:00 a.m.
