Ken was the oldest child and he was a natural leader. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was honest, caring, and a faithful friend.
Ken is survived by his loving wife, Lani Kallio, his brothers Howard Kallio and Don Kallio, his sisters Donna Kallio Martin and Sheri Kallio Ray, son Lee Kallio, his daughters Kimberly Kallio Murray, Christy Kallio Brewer and Jennifer Anderson Alba. Kens grandchildren include Arthur Berry, Kalyn Brewer, Kelsey Kallio, Cole Berry, Chaz Brewer, Kenzie Kallio, Jessica Anderson Stocks, Brandon Alba, Sabastian Alba, Tyler Anderson, Christian Alba and Andy Anderson. Ken was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Ken was preceded in death by his father Veikko Kallio and his mother Helga Holmgren Kallio, his brothers Arnie Kallio and Vern Kallio, his sons Bryan Anderson and Shawn Anderson.
Ken attended Ingraham High School in Seattle. He went on to have a successful career at Consolidated Freight Lines and Miller's Interiors.
Ken adored his family and treasured family gatherings. He had many hobbies, including bowling (he was on many leagues throughout the years), golfing, wood working, cars, sports, leather-working, and traveling to see family. He excelled in everything he did and was always eager to learn new things.
A funeral service for Ken will be held at Shaeffer-Shipman Funeral Home, located at 804 State Ave, Marysville, Washington 98270, on Thursday, May 11, 2023, from 2:00 PM-3:00 PM.
