Ann Marie DePasquale

Ann Marie DePasquale passed away at home on January 12th, 2016. She was fifty-three years old. She was born to Richard and Norma Chapman in Leitchfield, Kentucky on August 12th, 1962. At the University of Washington, Ann was an administrator for the college of Arts and Sciences reviewing grant proposals and contracts. A passionate, vivacious woman, Ann is remembered for the infectious energy she brought wherever she was present. Her kind and generous spirit will continue to envelop those she has left behind.

Preceded in death by her parents Richard and Norma Chapman, Ann is survived by many loved ones. Of these she is survived by her greatest loves, her devoted husband, Patrick and her adored four legged boys, Remy and Reno. In addition, she is survived by her brother, Joseph and his wife Tara Chapman and their children Corbin and Xavier; her “adopted” children, Alisha Heal and Matthew Petrucci; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins with special love to Rick, Tammy and Marlene. She is also survived by many special friends and colleagues who gave their thoughts, prayers and generous support.

Her family would like to give special thanks to all of the compassionate and professional people that made her journey through the rough waters of illness so much smoother. A special thanks to the staff at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, Falck Ambulance, and Evergreen Hospice for the care of Ann, with heartfelt thanks to our angelic nurse, Melanie Betts. All of these people made us feel like she was the only person in their care.
