July 31, 1992 - March 22, 2014 Alan Bejvl, along with his fiance, passed from this world during the mudslide on March 22, 2014. Words will never convey what a special young man Alan was. Everywhere he went he brought his wonderful smile, his amazing sense of humor, and his love of life. Alan once said his gift was "the ability to cheer people up" and anyone who knew him would agree. He never let life get him down and would find laughter no matter what each day brought. He was also know for his strong work ethic, generous heart and love of the outdoors. We are blessed with being a close family who enjoys our time together. Most of Alan's vacations were spent with his dad and uncles skiing in Idaho. He also took many trips with his older brother and sister either hiking, biking or quad riding through Washington. We are grateful that Alan found love in this life. He and his fiancé had a wonderful plan that included land, a log house, lots of animals and, eventually a family. As they were together in life, they left together in death, and are now together in eternity living their dream. We wish any donations in his honor to be given back to our local community of Darrington, who gave so much in supplies, time and support, specifically the fire department. Our family would never say goodbye when we parted, only "see you later". So Alan, from all of us who love you and will miss you every single day, "See you later Smiley". A memorial will be held at the Holiday Inn Downtown Everett, April 6, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. -
Arrangements under the direction of Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home, Marysville, WA.
