William Basil Trent Jr

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Charleen Elizabeth Trent and his infant sister, Mollie Allen Trent.

He is survived by his daughter, Ann Harris and husband, Mark of Spencer; his son, William Basil Trent III, and wife, Stephanie of Spencer; four grandchildren, Deanna Miller and husband Chris of Critz, William Cole Trent, Cody Warren Trent and Kristin Harris all of Spencer; two great-grandchildren, Miranda Elizabeth and Trenton Blake Miller; sisters, Virginia Dare Mott and Lillie Sue Hoyle and her husband, Jacob, and his brother George Robert Trent.

The funeral service will be held Monday, April 11, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Mayo Baptist Church with Pastor Ricky Bates and Pastor Curt Ashley officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service and other times at the home. Interment will be at Mayo Baptist Church Cemetery.
