Sandra Davis Stone

Sandra Davis Stone of Kings Grant Retirement Community and formally of Collinsville, Va. passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. She was born in Martinsville, Va. on June 2, 1949. Mrs. Stone was preceded in death by her parents, Ben T. Davis and Hilda R. Davis; her husband, Henry Clayton Stone; nieces, Kathy Stone Vernon and Deborah Jean Stone. She is survived by her nieces, Cheryl Stone Merriman (Timothy); Beth Stone (Kedrick Sumner) and Gail Bower (Joe); great nieces and nephews, Jessica V. Brooks (Michael), Sarah V. Nemeth (Joe), Linwood Clay Merriman (Ashton), Kayleigh G. Baliles, Cameron M. Cooper (Kiah) and Cody Merriman; great-great nieces and nephews, Landon Nemeth, Kiah Cooper II, Carson & Kathlynn Brooks and MariJae Baliles. Mrs. Stone graduated from Drewry Mason High School and retired from Carter Bank Services. She was a member of Smith Memorial United Methodist Church in Collinsville. A graveside service will be held at Roselawn Burial Park at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 2, 2023. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Smith Memorial United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 1081, Collinsville, VA. 24078.
