Peggy Ann Wells McLain, 70, of Martinsville, died Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Memorial Hospital in Martinsville. She was born in Martinsville, June 3, 1941 to Guy Milton Wells and Vennie Rosalee Griffin Wells, both deceased.
Peggy was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Lorena M. Steen of Martinsville; two sisters, Dolly Whisonant of Martinsville, Shirley Spencer of Collinsville; two grandchildren, Windy Davidson and Michael Steen, Jr.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Hillcrest Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Ramsey officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
