Norman Clifton Daniel II, affectionately known as “Cliff” by his friends and family, passed away in his home on February 14, 2019. He was born October 20, 1964, in Henry County, Virginia to the late Norman Clifton Daniel and Evelyn Whitlock Daniel.
He was of the Baptist faith, and worked all of his life in the furniture industry at Daniel’s of Eden. He is survived by his loving sister, Paige Daniel Frith (Jay), three nieces and nephews, and four grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Cliff had a vigorous passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family in the woods hunting, and on the water fishing.
A private service was held on Saturday, February 16, 2019, the Reverend John Fulcher officiating. The family will receive friends at any time at the home of his sister.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the SPCA of Martinsville and Henry County at 132 Joseph Martin Highway, Martinsville, VA 24112, to honor Cliff’s love for animals.
