Mary Harpole Creasy

She was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters; Frank Harpole, Elizabeth Harpole Dunlap and her husband, Dr. W. B. Dunlap, Vera Harpole Wehman and her husband, Roy Wehman, and Dr. Joseph Harpole and his wife, Mary Lou Harpole, all of Union City, TN, and Dr. David Harpole and his wife, Ann Harpole, of Richmond, VA.

She was married to the late Dr. Cecil Arthur Creasy, Sr. Mrs. Creasy is survived by one son, Cecil Arthur Creasy, Jr. and his wife, Beth, of Wilmington, NC, and two daughters, Carolyn Ann Creasy of Martinsville, VA, and Dr. Martha Creasy Cutright, and her husband, Dr. Barry Cutright, of Danville, VA. She is also survived by four grandchildren; Ashton Creasy, Kimberly Cutright Heimstead and her husband, CPT. Dustin Heimstead, Cecil Arthur Creasy, III and Barry Hunter Cutright.

Mary Creasy was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was an avid bridge player and collegiate sports fan. In addition, Mrs. Creasy was a member of the Charity League and Martinsville Garden Club of Virginia.

A graveside service will be held at the Creasy Family Cemetery in Gretna, Virginia on Friday, August 11, 2017 at 3 p.m.
