Kenneth William Knight

Ken was born June 17, 1917 in Easthampton, Massachusetts to the late William B. and Etta Hanson Knight. He and his late wife, Helen Weidhaas Knight, were members of Easthampton Congregational Church. Ken was also preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Beliveao.

Ken retired as Vice-President of the Easthampton Rubber Thread Company in Stuart, Virginia, a division of The United Elastic Corporation and J.P. Stevens, Inc., after 40 years of service.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret Gravely Knight of the home; one son, James K. Knight and his wife Janice of Columbia, Connecticut and their son, Joseph Knight of New York City; and one step-daughter, Lynn Knight Stuchel and her husband Scott of Wake Forest, North Carolina and their two children, Tyler and Meghan Stuchel of Wake Forest.

The memorial service will take place on Wednesday, Febuary 13, 2013 at 11 am at First Presbyterian Church, Martinsville with Dr. Dwight Christenbury and the Rev. Jenny Spivey officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to First Presbyterian Church, 1901 Patrick Henry Avenue, Martinsville, Virginia 24112.
