Bobby Gene Merriman

Bobby Gene Merriman, 87, of Collinsville Va. passed away on April 8, 2023. Mr. Merriman was born in Fieldale, Va. to the late Henry Clay and Ruth Merriman. He is also preceded in death by his brother, James “Butch” Merriman.

Mr. Merriman is survived by his wife of 66 years, Susie C. Merriman; son, Tim Merriman (Cheryl); daughter Tina Reed (Bobby); grandchildren, Cameron Cooper (Kiah), Cody Merriman, Kristen Alderman (Jeff), Megan Spencer (Stephen) and Clay Merriman (Ashton); great grandchildren, Sadie Spencer, Kiah Cooper and Maybel Spencer; brother, Mike Merriman (Debbie), sisters Judy Lupton, and Becky Stegall (Doug) and many nieces and nephews

Mr. Merriman retired from the Henry County School bus garage with 19 years of service. Bobby was a member of Stone Memorial Christian Church.

Mr. Merriman loved hunting, fishing and loving every day.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Roselawn Burial Park with Minister Tim Wood officiating. Family and friends may call on the family at the home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Stone Memorial Christian Church, Missions Fund, 3030 Virginia Ave., Collinsville, Va. 24078.
