Bobby Lee Jones

Bobby Lee Jones, 79, of Collinsville, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2013 at the home of his daughter. He was born in Henry, Virginia, June 30, 1934 to Beecher Jones, Sr. and Gracie Angle Jones. Bobby served in the Air Force and the National Guard and was a retired mechanic. He was a member of Stone Memorial Christian Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, B.J. Jones.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Garnett F. Jones of the residence; his daughter and son-in-law, Bobbie and Charlie Martin of Martinsville; a grandson, Noah Martin; two sisters, Hazel Jamerson of Collinsville and Thelma Miles of Bassett; one brother, Nat Jones of Danville.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Stone Memorial Christian Church with ministers Tim Wood and Lawrence Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park with military honors by the Martinsville-Henry County Veterans Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends beginning at 11:30 on Wednesday prior to the funeral service at the church and other times at the home of Bobbie and Charlie Martin, 4536 A. L. Philpott Hwy, Martinsville, VA 24112.
