Tena Kollar

Tena Louise Kollar "White," beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2025, surrounded by her beloved children. Tena was born on March 24, 1961, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Arlene and Delbert White.

Tena’s life was defined by her deep love for family, endless infectious laughter, nurturing spirit, and her passion for gardening. From which she proudly crafted the most flavorful salsas and jams. Known for being both sweet and spicy, Tena embodied the vibrant, strong-willed spirit that made her truly unforgettable. She had a special fondness for the color teal, a reflection of her unique personality.

Tena’s greatest joy came from spending time with her children and grandchildren, and she treasured every moment spent with her family. She is survived by her children; Kenneth Kollar and girlfriend Michelle, Samantha Kollar and husband Brad Howard, grandchildren; Jaidyn, Jory, Tucker, step-grandchildren, Jaxon and Aubrie, who brought her immense happiness. Tena is also survived by her father, Delbert Eugene White, brother and Sister in law; William & Jacqueline White, nephews; Jeremy (Brooke) White, Justin (Jenny) White, Josh White, and Jarrod White, niece; Ashley (Robin) Anderson, great nephews; William & Jonathan White, former Spouse Gregory T Kollar whom she shared children with, and many extended family members and friends who became a part of her chosen family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Arlene White.

The family invites friends to join them in celebrating the beautiful life of Tena on her birthday, Monday, March 24, 2025, from 2:00pm until 10:00pm at her home, 33 People’s Ct., Martinsburg, WV 25405. Gathering together to honor her memory with love, laughter, and joy—just as she would have wanted.

Tena’s spirit will forever bloom in our hearts.
