Steven Morris Askin

Born on April 4, 1948 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Bernard and Margaret Askin.

For many years Steven worked as a practicing Attorney until 1996 when he became a Consulting Paralegal. He enjoyed watching sports and was a fan of the Washington Commanders and Baltimore Orioles.

Steven was a proud father and grandfather. He is survived by his children: Lauren Quarterman and Steven Askin II ; Daughter In-Law Melinda Askin and Son In-Law Fraser Quarterman ; his grandchildren: Romy Quarterman, Grayson Quarterman, Steven Askin III, Scott Askin, Connor Askin and Baby A on the way; sisters: Derby Hammond and Barbara Moreno; the mother of his children and lifelong friend, Sallie Askin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at Rosedale Funeral Home on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 11am until the time of the Memorial service at 12pm.
