Alexander I was very lucky to know your dad, I worked with Shawn at City National/CNR and it was a pleasure. He was a great guy who was a steady presence and had a wry sense of humor that could make tough things a bit easier. 

I was lucky to know him.

Over the last 4 years of working together, I've come to recognize that Shawn was many things - intelligent, funny, compassionate, kind, honest, caring, hardworking, relentless, dependable. 

He was the model of what makes someone a great colleague and friend. From guiding us through complex projects and hopping on late-night calls to help diagnose issues, to creating time and space for us all to have fun along the way - he led the way in building a culture of mutual support and cohesiveness on our team. 

My sincerest condolences to Jen, Alex, Shawn's family and friends. We miss and remember our beloved Shawn everyday.

My sincerest condolences to the Rosenberry family! I had the honor and joy to be able to work with Shawn at CNR for almost four years. It is incredible how much we went thru in this short amount of time, but Shawn was always that steady rock that you could depend on to get you through the difficult situations. A great colleague but an even better friend, he will definitely be missed by our team! Our team and your family both lost a great leader that we can never be fully replaced!

To Shawn's family, I would like to express my most heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy for your loss. On repeat occasions, I had the opportunity of working with Shawn at City National Bank and truly appreciated the fact that Shawn knew his craft and was always very diligent in resolving issues that impacted the team. Every time I interacted with Shawn, I was very glad to be working with a true professional that knew the nature of his work expertly and whom also had a great personality. Shawn will truly be missed, I sat by him in the office prior to the pandemic in downtown Los Angeles and any question I had he was always there even if it wasn’t work related. He was also a good friend and an honor to have worked alongside him. My deepest condolences to his family.


Seeing both Shawn and Jen walk in the War Memorial doors always put a huge smile on our faces. We all always looked forward to getting our turn to chatting with them both. They were a power couple. So sweet, knowledgeable, and loving. Our hearts are with you Jen and family. We love you.

Shawn and I have worked together for a few years now, I could always count on him and he was always so eager to help and make things better, it will take some time to come to the realization that he is really gone and we will miss him greatly here.

I have known Shawn for only few months but it never felt that way working with Shawn. He was a great colleague and team member and more importantly he was a great human being. My sincere condolences to Shawn's family for their loss.  He will also be greatly missed at CNR.  Shawn was an excellent colleague who really cared about what he did and for the people around him.  I had the opportunity to work with Shawn to build out a new workflow in Salesforce that completely transformed how my team worked.  He made the whole process so easy and fun.   No request was ever too much.  He was always kind and eager to help make the change easy on everyone.   He really was a ray of sunshine.  May your memories of him bring you joy.

Shawn was a great team member and will always be remembered for his smile.

I had talked with Shawn very few times in meetings. But I heard great things about him as a person and as a colleague. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Shawn was a great colleague and a true asset to have on the team.  His eagerness to help and address issues with a smile was a true mark of his character.  He was always eager to learn and take on activities to help the team become better.  He will be much missed on the team. Very hard to believe that he is no longer with us. I only had a brief experience working with Shawn but even in that short interaction I got to know how kind and helpful person he was, sending my sorrow and deepest sympathy to you and your family.

My daughter, Izzie, and I met Shawn several years ago, while in Burbank. Shawn was one of those rare persons, whom you are sometimes fortunate to meet as you know that they will always remain special, within your life. He had such a contagious laugh and wonderful spirit. Shawn was one who continually gave of himself, without expectation. He adored Izzie and the feeling was likewise. She spoke of him, often and loved his notes of encouragement. Shawn was incredible with children and he went above and beyond to make Izzie feel special. Neither Izzie nor myself may ever remember Shawn, without a smile upon his face. Jennifer and Alex, he loved you with every piece of his heart. It was a love that I'm certain may transcend all time and place. He is in your every step, touch, breath and smile.
