Sandra Lee Levi, 70, of Gerrardstown, passed away peacefully Friday December 19, 2014, surrounded by her loving family under the care of Hospice. Born August 16, 1944 in Leesburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Aldridge G. and Bessie Penwell Ballenger.
She worked at the IRS for many years before transferring to the Corp of Engineers where she retired.
Sandra will be missed by her daughter Shannon L. and husband Donald (Bud) Waddell of Gerrardstown; two grandchildren: Donald H. Waddell III and Nicole L. Waddell; two brothers: James Ballenger and Glenn (Poke) Ballenger, both of Winchester and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Carol A. Tomblin.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 22nd at 1:00pm at Rosedale Cemetery.
