Born on December 24, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Charles Homer Stewart and Ethel Lee Boggs Stewart.
Sallie was a financial analysist and was employed with HUD of Washington D.C. She was also a member of the Sylvannah Praise Worship and Healing Center.
She is survived by two sons: Timothy D. Stewart Sr. and wife, Barbara of Martinsburg and Todd Stewart and wife, Shenita of Capitol Heights, Maryland; one daughter: Teresa A. Pondexter of Fairfax, Virginia; grandchildren: Timothy D. Stewart Jr, Trevor Stewart, Marcus Pondexter, Andre Pondexter, Tanika Pondexter, and Teje Pondexter,T-nia Stewart and Precious Bradley; and one brother, Harold E. Stewart and wife, Carolyn of Charlestown.
Friends will be received on Saturday, September 28th at 10:00 am, at the Sylvannah Praise Worship and Healing Center in Rippon, West Virginia with Funeral services at 11:00 am. Entombment will immediately follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
