Robert E Shifflett

Robert Emory Shifflett Sr, 65, died peacefully on February 16, 2022 surrounded by his family. Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Janet, sons Robert Shifflett and wife Amy Shifflett of Summit Point and Ronald Shifflett and wife Danielle Shifflett of Charles Town; six grandchildren, Joshua Shifflett, Michael Shifflett, Hannah Shifflett, Addison Shifflett, Kaylyn Hubbard and Carlee Schader.; Mother and Father, Jacob and Frances Shifflett of Winchester VA; Three brothers: Russell Shifflett, Randy Shifflett and Rodney Shifflett all of Winchester VA. One sister Angela Knicely of Bridgewater, VA.

Robert was a devoted father and grandfather, when he wasn’t spending time with his family you would find him in his garden. He was truck driver for over 40 years and part-time farmer. He always had a story to tell from years past. Anyone who knew Robert was touched by his kind heart and generosity. He will be missed more than words can express but his family knows that heaven gained a very special angel when he passed, and they take comfort in knowing he is watching over them now.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Jennifer Shifflett, brother Richard Shifflett, Paternal Grandparents Jacob Shifflett and Velvia Shifflett and Maternal grandparents Millard Shifflett and Margaret Shifflett.

Visitation will be held at Rosedale Funeral Home, 917 Cemetery Road, Martinsburg, WV on February 22, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM with service beginning at 1:00 PM with Pastor Bobby Brooks officiating.

The family will receive friends at CrossPoint Church of God, 3066 S Childs Rd, Kearneysville, WV beginning at 3:30 with food and fellowship to honor Robert’s life.
