Born August 13, 1932 in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Floyd and Verna Butts Everhart.
Robert enjoyed fishing and camping. He was an active member of the Martinsburg Senior Center. Robert worked for W. Harley Miller for many years.
He is survived by a son, Thomas Lee Everhart and wife Sharon; daughters, Dawn Light and Robin Graham; sister, Louise Abshire; brother, Gary Everhart; five grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Ivy Mae Allen Everhart; brothers, Floyd Junior Everhart and Leonard "Bud" Everhart; and grandson, Christopher Lee Everhart.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 12pm at Rosedale Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior. Dale Harmison will be officiating.
