Mary Lamp

Born on August 2, 1925 in Winchester, Virginia she was the daughter of the late Mayo Shiley and

Emma Beulah Williams Shiley.

In addition to her husband LeRoy, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and William (Bill) Shiley, granddaughter, Mary Hammett and great grandson, Gavin Hammett.

Mrs. Lamp was a Dairy Farmer’s wife and co-owner of Maple Lawn Jersey Farm. She was a dedicated wife and a long-time member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Shepherdstown.

She will be greatly missed by her three daughters, Mary Lee Blue (Richard) of Shenandoah Junction, Sandra Tharp (John) of Parkersburg, and Diane Hammett (Sam) of Martinsburg, and one son,

Larry Leroy Lamp (Susan) of Shepherdstown; ten grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 pm Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Rosedale Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at Rosedale Funeral Home on September 29, 2023 at 11 am with the Reverend GT Schramm and Reverend Elizabeth Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.
