Linda Poland

Born on November 5, 1950 in Washington, DC she was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna Long.

Linda was a sweet kind hearted mother and grandmother that loved her family dearly. She enjoyed being outdoors, working in her garden, loved dragonflies and taking trips to Myrtle Beach.

She was a CNA and Hospice volunteer and she worked for Dr. Lee Moore Sr. for 27 years. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi (Preceptor Alpha Kappa Chapter) for 43 years.

She is survived by her fiancé Paul Gregory whom she had been with for 30 years and her children: Brian Coffman, John Poland (Shelly), Shelley Breeden (Rich); grandchildren: Daniel Coffman (April), Jordan Coffman, Lauryn Scott, Owen Johnson (Lexi), and Camden Breeden; brother: Charles Long (Vickie) and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister Cathy Jo Frye

and her brother Larry Wilson, her beloved dog Corey and previous husbands Freddie Coffman(Vietnam)

and Robert Poland.

A visitation will be held at Rosedale Funeral Home on Friday November 4, 2022

From 1-2 pm with a Graveside service to follow in Rosedale Cemetery.
