To all family and friends,

Leslie and I worked together at APUS.  There was an instant connection as we talked about our families and her obvious love for her parents, her kids and grandkids.  She was a wonderful person and I will always cherish the memories of our talks, laughter and shared stories of family.  Sincere condolences and love and prayers for all.  She is remembered with love and admiration.  She was a sweet and kind soul, always willing to help.  Prayers for comfort.

Leslie brought sunshine to every phone call we had.  I never met her face-to-face.  She just knew how to brighten my day .  She will be so missed by all she came in contact with.  Prayers sent to her family.  You were blessed to have her in your life.

It is a blessing to be counted among so many people who had the pleasure of knowing Leslie. She filled so many roles, to so many people. Each role being fulfilled in the most eloquent, kind and humerous way.
It is a great and sad lost only made bearable by the scriptual promise and hope, that she is merely sleeping. (John 5:28,29; John 11:11)

Eric and my daughter Stephanie were close friends in high school!  Leslie and I went to dinner together on several occasions and she helped me at Schwel’s picking out furniture.  She was truly a good person!!! She was always smiling and had a heart of gold!  Rest easy Leslie!!

My heart is so deeply saddened by the loss of my friend.  Leslie and I worked together at APUS.  She was such a delight and a total ray of sunshine to be around.  Always smiling, always upbeat and full of energy!!!  My heart and prayers goes out to her family.  I pray for God to lift you up and guide you through the heartache and sadness of your loss.  

I worked with Leslie in Charles Town, Winchester & Richmond, and we have kept in touch since. Leslie was such a beautiful lady inside and out.  She was so caring and seemed to have ESP when it came to people she cared for.  Out of the blue, I'd get a text from her that I'd been on her mind and sure enough, there was something going on. I know how much she loved her family, she spoke lovingly of you. Eric, she was so proud of you. My heart hurts for your family.

I met Leslie about 12 years ago when I became best friends with her son, Eric. I will always remember going to her apartment and having it be nice and cold, which is where I got my love of having it 65 degrees in the house. She was so sweet and loving, and made my first plate of collard greens (they were incredible!). I will never forget watching movies on the couch and having her hang out with us. On a few occasions she called me just to chat, and I felt so loved by her. She is already greatly missed. Love you always, Leslie. 

I met Leslie when she came to APUS two years ago. We were in the same department at that time and we just clicked from day one. Over these two years I found a true friend. We could talk forever and she always had me laughing. We enjoyed our shopping trips and of course our food excursions.  She always thought of everyone before herself.  Our last conversation was Wednesday evening and we were laughing and joking around.  I will never forget my dear friend and I will cherish the time we had.  I know sweet Leslie that you will be our angel watching over us. 

To all of her family and friends you will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers in the days ahead. Just know that she was special to so many. My heart is broken.

"Hi Sweetie"  I will dearly miss these sweet words.  Our final conversation via phone on Wednesday,  I will treasure in my heart forever .    Leslie, you will be missed so much.  Thank you for sharing your light with us all.  My deepest condolences to your family and friends.  She was truly a light that will forever shin brightly!  

I worked with Leslie at APEI. She would come into the payroll office all the time and literally BROUGHT sunshine and laughter with her each time. She was always a breath of fresh air and I always looked forward to her visits or seeing her in the halls. I hope that her friends and family can take a small amount of solace in knowing just how much she brightened our work lives. She will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her friends and family. 

Leslie was a special person that God put on this Earth.  
I was introduced to her by my sister many years ago and I quickly started calling her my sister.  I will surely miss my 
sister and friend especially her laughter.

Lord God, Thank you for Leslie! Thank you for the opportunity to have known her.  I pray, God, during this time of sorrow that you will put your hands on the family and help them to heal.  For those who need you more, I ask that you please hold them, pick them up in your loving arms and hold them.  Show them that you are Mighty and Merciful, Loving and Protecting, and THE Comforter and Healer for all.

From my heart to yours.  Leslie and I developed a friendship through the phone at APUS.   What a delight it was to speak with her everyday.  Yes everyday.  She always had a wonderful greeting Hey Sweetie and a wonderful closing talk to you soon sweetie.  There are so many words I could use to describe Leslie, but I will use SUNSHINE.  Just know every time you look towards the sky she is smiling down on you.  On a rainy day she will be shining through the sky at you.  When God gives you a gift as precious as our Leslie you will hold her in your heart forever.  Sending love and strength to the family.  I will keep you all lifted.  She is loved and missed.

Leslie was my co-worker.  Every time I saw her in the hall, she was always friendly and would always speak to me.  Leslie was always very bubbly and friendly to me.  She will be missed.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!

Leslie will be deeply missed by all.  I had only known Leslie a short five months, but it had seemed much longer. There will definitely be a void on our team at work. May God comfort your family at a time when we ask why. 

My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family. May god place his arms around each of you and comfort you all in the days, weeks and months ahead. 

I worked with Leslie at APUS in the Business Office. Her smile would light up a room. She was always such a friendly person to talk with.  See will be truly missed by us all at APUS.
