Kimberly Beth Walsh, 50, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on December 10, 2024, at her home. Born on February 2, 1974, to Kenneth and Darlene "Bowers" Allen, Kim grew up in Inwood, where she graduated from Musselman High School in the class of 1992. She worked at the Martinsburg Water Department as a secretary for nearly two decades, where she established many friendships and colleagues.
Kim's life was defined by her deep love for her family, her devotion to those closest to her, and the simple joys she cherished. She was married to Michael Walsh in Virginia Beach, and together they spent 10 wonderful years building a life filled with love and memories. Kim enjoyed spending time with her family, particularly her beloved grandchildren, Everly, Matthew, and Noah. Known as "Grandma Kim," she found immeasurable joy in the laughter and warmth of her grandkids. She also had a passion for walking and relished visits to the beach, where she could unwind and create lasting memories with loved ones.
In addition to her husband Michael, Kim is survived by her children, Olivia (Matthew) Sims, Jared (Essence) Walsh, Gavin Walsh and his fiancée Caroline Cook, Dillon (DK) Walsh. Her legacy also lives on through her three grandchildren, Everly and Matthew Sims, and Noah Walsh, who brought her so much joy. Kim is also survived by her brother, Kendall Allen, and her sister-in-law, Stephanie Hull, brother-in-law, Dickie, as well as special nieces and nephews, Taylor Allen, Tyler, and Miranda.
Kim was blessed with many loving aunts, uncles, including Beverly and Donald Stower, Hazel and Steve Lord, her cousin, Jason Lord, and many more, all of whom were dear to her. She also held a special place in her heart for her lifelong friends, Vanessa Thomas and Karen Baird-Miller, whose friendship and support meant the world to her. Kim is further survived by her mother-in-law, Anne Walsh, whose love she cherished deeply.
Kim is preceded in death by her beloved Mommom and Pap Pap Agnies and Blake Allen, and her Uncle Jimmy.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 4:00pm at Rosedale Funeral Home, 917 Cemetery rd., Martinsburg, WV 25401.
