Born on November 22, 1978 in Martinsburg, he was the son of Debra Myers and the late Ronald Barrett Sr.
John was a Graduate of Martinsburg High School in 1996, and he enjoyed football and baseball. His favorite teams to watch were the Washington Redskins and Baltimore Orioles.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his daughters Leah Barrett and Nichole Barrett; granddaughter, Leveah Krueger; Sister: Rachel Barrett, Rebecca Shifflett, Elisabeth Lingerfelt,
Robin Haines, Kimberly Stancliff, and Laurie Slevin; brothers: Ronald Barrett Jr. and Robert Barrett.
In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his brothers Mark Dabbs and David Barrett.
Funeral Services will be held at Rosedale Funeral Home with Interment to follow in Rosedale Cemetery.
