James Blue

Born on December 20, 1941, he was the son of the late James T. and Francis McKee Blue.

Jimmie was a lifelong Jefferson County Dairy farmer with James T. Blue and Sons Inc. in Shenandoah Junction. He was a 1959 graduate of Shepherdstown High School and was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church in Shepherdstown.

He will be sadly missed by his wife of 38 years, Sue (Fryer) Blue; his son, Jay Blue and his wife, Amy of Shenandoah Junction; stepdaughter, Bobbi (Moody) Shannon and her husband, Derek of Columbus, Ohio; stepdaughter-in-law, Jenny Moody of Shepherdstown; grandchildren: Abigail, James, and Jeremiah Blue of Shenandoah Junction and Aidan and Josh Westenheffer of Columbus, Ohio; brothers: Richard Blue and wife Mary Lee, John Blue and wife, Kathy, and Mike Blue and wife, Dorrie all of Shenandoah Junction; and sisters: Nancy (Blue) Magaha of Charles Town, Mary Ellen (Blue) Kirk of Hagerstown, and Weasie Blue of Shenandoah Junction.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-son, Dustin Moody; his in-laws, Bob and Mary Fryer of Ohio; and his brothers-in-law: Richard Magaha and Dr. Robert Kirk.

Friends will be received on Monday March 7, 2022 from 1pm until the time of the funeral service at 2pm at Rosedale Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Panhandle or St. Peters Lutheran Church.
