Born on October 31, 1950 in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late James and Evelyn Laing.
Geneva enjoyed playing cards and watching television, especially wrestling; but the real joy in her life was spending time her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. ‘
She was a member of Full Gospel Pentecostal Church of four mile woods with the late Rev. Raymond E. Jones.
She is survived by four daughters: Tammy Johnson, Devona Mulligan and husband, Jamie, Lisa Burleson and husband, John, and Melissa Smith and husband, Steve;
one brother, Mark Laing; one sister, Gloria Bell; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and a special son, Terry Siler whom she loved very much.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. “Butch” Johnson; one grandson, Patrick McHale, Jr.; and two brothers: Lewis Laing and James W. Laing.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 12pm until the time of the funeral service at 1pm at Rosedale Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.
