Essecle enjoyed her family and in her later years going to yard sales, watching soap operas. In her younger years she loved to spend time outdoors; she would hunt and camp but her favorite passion was fishing, she loved her flower gardens too. There wasn’t a flower that she disliked.
She is survived by her son, Walter Wise and his wife, Juanita of Milton West Virginia; two grandsons: Michael Lee and Stephen Wayne, four great-grandchildren; two brothers: John Houck and his wife Nancy, Clarence Houck and his wife, Dolly; two sisters: Leona L Vanmeter and her husband, James, Betty J. Houck all of Hedgesville; a very good friend Linda Nicewater, numerous nieces and nephews and her loving dog Queenie.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Della Wise.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 11 am until the start of the service at 12 noon in the Chapel at Rosedale Funeral Home with interment following in Rosedale Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Berkeley County in her honor.
