Dustin Lee Balmer-Gage, 28 was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle and nephew. He was an avid motocross fan, and in the past was always found at many local and distant motocross tracks racing with some of his very best friends #Brraapp. He enjoyed everything life had to offer him, and was always ready with a smile, and a joke. Dustin fought a hard battle with addiction, and on Friday, February 3, 2017, lost his battle.
From a young age, Dustin was an adventurous soul. He was born on December 12, 1988, in Owosso, Michigan to Charles Gage and Mary Balmer, where he lived until moving to West Virginia in 2000. He was employed as a Lead Installer with Velocity Telecom for many years, and more recently as an assembler with Automated Merchandising Systems.
Although Dustin struggled with the disease of addiction for many years, he was a fierce and persistent fighter who lived each day to make it count. He is survived by his wife Christina Balmer-Gage and fur-baby Luna, parents Charles and Mary Balmer-Gage, paternal grandparents Shirley Wiseley and Charles Gage Sr, sister Ashley Enoch and husband Luke, nephews Kaden and Noah Enoch, nieces Trinity and Lily Hardin, in laws John Hardin Sr and Angela and Timothy Parker, brother- in-laws John Hardin Jr, Dylan Schroyer, Darrin Russell, Robert Hardin and wife Katie, as well as many numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by maternal grandparents Gordon and Nancy Balmer, and Cousin Jacob Balmer.
Services will be held at Rosedale Funeral Home on Thursday, February 9th, 2017.Visitation will take place from 1-2 pm, with service to follow at 2. A celebration of Dustin’s life will tke place immediately following the service at Rock Spring Church, located at 114 Poor Farm Road Kearnesyville, WV 25430.

The family requests that you attend the service sober. If you feel that you are not able to maintain sobriety, the family asks that you instead attend a Narcotics Anonymous meeting in his honor and share his story.
