Dorothy Mae Wilson

Born on September 5, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Eugenia Beavers.

Dorothy was a devoted wife to the love of her life, the late Howard Wilson, and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved her family dearly. She was a member of Pleasantville First Church of God.

She enjoyed crafting and bowling and loved to go fishing and crabbing while camping with her family.

Dorothy is survived by her children: Lawrence, Roxanne, Wayne, and Cindy; grandchildren: Martin (Jake) Melissa, Zachariah, Kyle, and Michael; and great-grandchildren: Mach, Seth, Desmond, Caroline, Jacob, Daphne and John.

In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was also preceded in death by her son, Marty; grandson, Gary; sisters: Joan and Betty; and brother-in-law, Vic.

Family and friends will be received at Rosedale Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from noon until the time of the funeral service at 1pm. Interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
