Born July 14, 1961 in Panama, he was the son of Clifford Bernadette Stricker and Joyce Louise (Lilly) Stricker.
Jerry was a proud veteran of the United States Army and served during the Gulf War. After leaving the service, Jerry trained to be a hairdresser and worked on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. His deep and abiding love, though, was as a musician. He was a phenomenal guitar player and occasionally participated in concerts at the Martinsburg VA Center to bless the veterans.
In addition to his parents, Jerry is survived by two daughters: Alexa (Stricker) Lachelt and Amanda Stricker; three grandchildren: Stella, Brock, and Hazel Lachelt; his wife, Laura Heinemann-Stricker; two sisters: Cheryl (Stricker) McCreary and Taryon Stricker; one brother, Gary Stricker; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A private family celebration of life will be held in Denver, Pennsylvania and inurnment will be in Grafton National Cemetery at a later date.
