Charles A. Parker, Jr. 87 of Martinsburg passed into eternal rest on October 2, 2016.
Born June 6, 1929 in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Charles A. Parker, Sr. and Margie Parker.
Charles was a member of the United States Army and retired from the US Air Force in 1969 with 22 years of honorable service. He later worked at the Martinsburg Air National Guard and the Martinsburg Veterans Administration Center and was a fire fighter.
He was married to the late Wanda M. Gaither and had two sons, Charles A. Parker, III and Thomas D. Parker. He had four sisters: Betty Howard and Phyllis Keller and the late Lila Orr and Alleta Parker.
Charles will be remembered as respected and responsible man, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 10am until the time of the funeral service at 11am at Rosedale Funeral Home.
