Bruce G. Watson

Born on January 28, 1935 in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Harry Bruce Watson and Rosie Elizabeth Doyle Watson.

Bruce was a manager for Cresslers Foodland Stores in Shippensburg, Chambersburg, and Martinsburg. He also assisted with opening different grocery stores throughout the East Coast. He finished his career at Super Value which is where he retired from.

He enjoyed being outdoors taking walks and was an avid golfer.

Bruce is survived by his children: Steven Watson and wife, Darlene, and David Watson and wife, Kathy; his grandchildren: Justin Watson, David Watson Jr., and Whitney Payne; many great-grandchildren; and his brothers: Tom Watson and wife, Pat, Ronnie Watson and wife, Betty, and Larry Watson and wife, Audrey.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Isabel Watson; and his son, Terry Watson.

Funeral services will be private. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
