Barbara Lee Epperson, 81 of Martinsburg passed away on April 1, 2024.
Born on November 27, 1942 in Martinsburg she was the daughter of Earl Bowers and the late Gladys Jacobs Bowers.
Barbara worked in Washington, D.C. as a Senators secretary. Followed by a 35-year career in several different positions for the United States Postal Service.
Barbara loved owls and enjoyed writing poetry in her spare time.
She is survived by her husband Joseph Epperson; brothers: Phillip Bowers (Louise), Richard Bowers (Diane) and Robert Bowers along with many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
In addition to her mother she is preceded in death by sons:Keith Epperson and Kevin Epperson and her sister Nancy DeHaven.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday May 14, 2024 at Independent Bible Church in Hedgesville, WV.
