Martinez, GA- William F. Minton, 74, entered into rest on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Doctor’s Hospital in Augusta. William retired from the U.S. Army as a Master Sargeant following 22 years of service, where he served his country in Vietnam. Following his military retirement, he worked in civil service at Ft. Gordon for 10 years as Personnel Security.
William is survived by his wife, Karen I. Minton; sons, William F. Minton, Jr. and Curtis W. Minton, both of Virginia; brother, Rolland B. Minton of Michigan; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Bellevue Memorial Garden’s Chapel. Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service in the chapel at Bellevue Memorial Gardens, 4501 Wrightsboro Road Grovetown, GA.
