Mr. Biyo was born and raised in Oahu, Hawaii. Growing up in Hawaii, he loved the water. At the age of 13, he and his family moved to Seattle. Even as an adult he tried once a year to make it to the ocean so he could look over the horizon. He served in the United States Army and retired after 20 years. He enjoyed playing video games and watching racing on Television and also going to races. He traveled all over to see different races including North Carolina, South Carolina and also was able to go to Daytona.
Mr. Biyo is preceded in death by his father, Victoriano Biyo; grandmother, Alice Biyo; grandfather, Abelardo Biyo; and his other grandfather, Nicanor Ordonez. Survivors include his loving wife of 13 years, Aziela Biyo; children, John Biyo and Amaya Biyo; siblings, Abby Garcia, Victoriana Biyo and Vladimir Biyo; mother, Amor Biyo; mother-in-law, Felicidad Soriano; grandmother, Zenaida Costa Javalera; Nieces, Ica, Sarah and Azelle; and brother-in-law, Sonny Garcia.
The family will receive friends at Elliott Sons Funeral Home at 4255 Columbia Road, Martinez, GA 30907 on Wednesday, December 2, from 5-8pm, Thursday, December 3, from 5-8pm, Friday, December 4, from 5-8pm and Saturday, December 5, From 12-8pm with a Rosary in the Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home at 6pm. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Bellevue Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel 4501 Wrightsboro Road, Grovetown, GA 30813 at 11am with Father Carlos Rivero officiating. Military Honors will be provided to honor Mr. Biyo. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
The funeral home will be practicing social distancing and following all COVID-19 restrictions at this time.
