Thomas Everett Norris

Thomas was born in Washington, DC. He loved spending time with his family during the holidays and having reunions at the cabins. His family meant the world to him. He also enjoyed the peacefulness of fishing and boating. Painting and creating art pieces was always something he treasured. You could find him square dancing with friends and family. He was a dedicated member of the Church of Christ. He enthusiastically volunteered time to repair and maintain the church.

Thomas is preceded in death by his parents Arthur Norris and Bernice Clark and brother, Gilbert L. Clark. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Carolyn Norris; children Cynthia G. Ussery, Tyrrell E. Norris and Kristopher J. Norris, brother David M. Clark, 7 Grandchildren and 9 Great Great Grandchildren and a host of family and friends who he loved dearly.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 2, 2022 at 12 pm at Elliott Sons Funeral Home 4255 Columbia Road, Martinez, GA 30907. The family will receive friends Friday, September 2, 2022 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Elliott Sons Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2700 Deans Bridge Road.
