Susan Harper

Susan was born December 28, 1953 in Baltimore, Maryland to Howard and Margaret Hall. She graduated from Sparrow Point High School in 1971. She and her husband met while working at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia. They married in 1993 and had one son together, Brian Christopher. She retired from the VA in September 2021.

Susan was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord. She loved spending time with family and enjoyed traveling. She had many hobbies, including crafts and cooking. She was fun and a joy to be around. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her husband of 30 years, Chris, she is survived by her brother Bob and her sister Cathy. She had two sons, Tom Holden and Brian Harper. She also had two grandchildren, Steven and Hunter Holden.

A visitation for Susan will be held Sunday, December 3, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Rd, Martinez, Georgia 30907. A funeral service will occur Monday, December 4, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel, 4501 Wrightsboro Road, Grovetown, GA 30813.
